Yeti Rambler Water Bottle: Keep Your Drinks Ice Cold For Your Entire Shift
The Yeti Rambler series of water bottles are incredibly popular with nurses and for good reason: they keep you drink cold for hours and hours and look good doing it.
Water bottles are one of the must-have items for nurses, especially those of us who work 12 hour or longer shifts. Nurses don’t always have time to run to the water fountain and to a vending machine for a drink. So having a reliable water bottle that you can re-use every day is critical to having a good shift. Check out the details below and see if the Yeti Rambler is right for you!
Construction
Each Yeti Rambler is constructed of 18/8 Stainless Steel, which is a kitchen grade material that is puncture and rust-resistant. This is perfect because it means your water bottle will be an investment that you can reuse for years to come, instead of replacing it every year. The Rambler also has a “No-Sweat Design”, which means your bottle won’t sweat or make your hands hot/cold no matter what you have in the bottle. The Rambler is also dishwasher safe, so you can toss it in with the other dishes and know that it’s getting totally clean each wash. The model I’m reviewing here is the 36oz version, but the Rambler comes in all sizes ranging from 12oz to 1 gallon.
Cap Options
The cap featured in this review is the Rambler Bottle Magdock Cap, which is an add -on purchase. It features a twist off cap that has a magnet in it, so you can place it on the “docking” portion of the cap, ensuring you never lose your cap. Yeti offers other version of this cap, including a Straw Cap or a Chug Cap. I like this version because it twists off quickly and leaves a nice sized opening for your beverage to exit the bottle, rather than taking the entire cap off and having to be cautious about spilling while taking a quick drink. I’ve never experienced any types of leaks with the Magdock Cap, and even like to throw it in my bag with my iPad Pro with no worries about anything leaking out.
Cooling/Heating
The Rambler features a double-wall vacuum insulation that ensures that hot drinks will stay hot and cold drinks will stay cold. I have tested this bottle for many months of working 12 hours shifts and I’ve never had a drink lose its temperature when I put it in the Rambler. If I ever forgot to empty my ice water at the end of a shift, there is always still ice in it the next day when I go to fill it up again. This bottle is absolutely the best option for keeping a drink at it’s desired temperature and you will not go wrong with any size or color combination.
Conclusion
The Rambler is my favorite water bottle to use for working as a nurse and has never let me down. I now own multiple different color and size options of the Rambler and love using them every time. Check out the link below to purchase or leave your comments about the Yeti Rambler below!
